Padam Bansal, Ph.D.

Dr. Bansal is an expert in the areas of novel drug delivery systems, pharmaceutics and product development for new chemical entities and generic pharmaceutical dosage forms. Before Diceros Therapeutics, he was Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Amneal Pharmaceuticals. During his tenure at Amneal, Dr. Bansal developed and brought to market a variety of complex generics including suspensions and nasal products. Prior to Amneal, he served in senior scientific and managerial roles at Pfizer Central Research, Ortho Pharmaceuticals (J&J), and Berlex Laboratories (Schering AG). In his career, Dr. Bansal has provided technical strategy and leadership for the CMC sections of approximately 100 ANDA and NDA drug approvals.

Dr. Bansal served as Professor of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy at the Long Island University and has served as a consultant to several pharmaceutical companies in the area of product development. He has authored several graduate dissertations and peer-reviewed research publications in the fields of pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical analysis, and drug delivery. Dr. Bansal received his BS degree in Pharmacy from IIT at Banares Hindu University, India and MS/Ph.D. degrees in Pharmaceutics from the University of Kansas
